DIS attended the Microsoft Business Applications Summit 2020, that was held virtually on May 6-7, due to the current lockdown measures around the globe. This year’s event had a two-day set of digital sessions, available on demand, with all upcoming and exciting changes in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform products.

Partners, users and decision makers connected and learned about the new opportunities, features and capabilities that Microsoft business applications provide. A thrilling new era powered by Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality and Machine Learning tools has begun.

Dynamics 365 applications suite is enriched with powerful insights and analytics to provide a complete view of the customer and their journey. Virtual Bots and the omnichannel approach in Dynamics 365 Customer Service assist customer service with their daily tasks and maximize their productivity. A/B Testing is enabled for Dynamics 365 Marketing, along with improved content designer, segment design and survey support. Advanced forecasting comes with Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Finance. POS extensions and Azure AD support were announced for Dynamics 365 Commerce. Dynamics 365 Project Operations was introduced, the single application that brings together capabilities from Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation, Microsoft Project for the web and project management accounting within Dynamics 365 Finance into a seamlessly integrated offering.

Microsoft Power Platform is also enhanced with rich functionality and capabilities. Personalized visuals, extended developer tools, embedded AI and deep integration with Teams and Azure are few of the announced features for 2020.
